Forbes recently released its valuation of all 32 NFL teams, and the Colts came in at 11th. A ranking that is pretty exceptional for the 26th largest T.V. Market in the United States all things considered. The team value was $1,200M, and the team accumulated $276M in Revenue in 2012, the most recent numbers obtainable.
It’s a testament to the great work Jim Irsay has done as owner. He not only kept the team in Indianapolis, but he has played a big role in the construction of Lucas Oil Stadium, which is not only a world-class facility, but the current home of the Colts.
According to Forbes, the Colts have stayed at 11th for the past three seasons, which means the transformation from QB Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck hasn’t caused the franchise’s net worth to sway either way.
